Please read and confirm T's and C's have been read via email when booking

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Grange Court CL, we hope you enjoy your stay. Please find below the terms and conditions applicable to our site. We abbreviate Certificated Location to ‘CL’. We use the word ‘outfit’ as a generic term to describe a motorhome or a caravan towed by a car.

Our operating certificate is issued by the Caravan and Motorhome Club under Paragraph 5 of the First Schedule of The Caravan Sites and Control of Development Act, 1960.

Our CL operates by the following Caravan and Motorhome Club rules:

·         Only members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club on producing their membership cards may be accommodated on the CL, for the purposes of recreation.

·         Not more than 5 caravans, motor caravans or trailer tents may be stationed on the CL at any time.

·         No caravan or motor caravan shall be allowed to stay for more than 28 consecutive days.

·         No tent camping to be allowed on-site (only a small single-berth pup tent ancillary to the main outfit can be accepted).

You are required to give us your Caravan and Motorhome Club membership number when booking.

·         If you need to cancel your booking please notify us as soon as possible so that we may re-offer the vacancy.

Arrival & Departure

Arrive after 12 noon and vacate your pitch by 11.30am on your day of departure. This is so that we have no more than 5 vans on-site at any one time.

Pitches

Your pitch number may alter before your stay, this will be only happen if areas have been affected by poor weather.

Dogs and other animals

We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per outfit. You are required to keep your animal(s) under close control at all times and clean up after them.  Animals are not to be left unattended.

Guests accepting day-visitors

If we are quiet and there is space for visitors they may be allowed. But you must please check with us first if you wish to have visitors and please be respectful of our other guests.

Cars

CLs are intended for recreational purposes and our expectation is that guests bring one car as the towing vehicle.  Large motorhomes occasionally bring a car as a ‘runaround’ vehicle.  If you wish to bring more than one car, please arrange this with us in advance.

Electric Supply

We have 16A hookups and charge a flat-rate pitch fee inclusive of ‘reasonable use’ of electricity inside caravans or motorhomes.  We do not permit charging of electric cars or using electricity to heat awnings or use equipment outside the caravan or motorhome as we believe this is not ‘reasonable use’.  Likewise, we only permit one electrical connection per outfit and do not allow electrical ‘splitters’.

For economy and fire safety, switch heaters off unless you are on site.

Water Supply

We are on a water meter. We ask guests politely not to wash their vehicles during their stay with us. Please ask for motorhome tank filling instructions when you arrive (we have a designated area for this).

Wi-Fi

We do not provide Wifi on Site but do have excellent 4G on site.

Behaviour

The site is to be quiet after 10.30pm.  It is not suitable for parties or events.

No flying kites, drones, model aircraft etc.

No noisy fireworks, aerial fireworks or flying lanterns.

In line with Caravan and Motorhome Club rules, we reserve the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct, or that of their animals, is detrimental to us or to our other visitors.

Site Maintenance and Recycling

The site is a full grass site, which may need mowing during your stay. We do try to carry this out when convenient as not to cause noise and disturbance, however there may be times it has to be done while you are on site.

Please dispose of waste in the correct recycling facilities provided. We only accept general household items.

Large items (broken chairs, cardboard boxes) are not to be left.

Special Needs or Disabilities

We will do our best to accommodate special needs or disabilities. Please explain your needs at time of booking in case we need to make special arrangements.

Loss & Damage

We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to your property or vehicles or any injury to you or your visitors whilst staying on our CL.

Please familiarise yourself with the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s guidance for staying on a CL on pages 260 & 261 of the 2021/2022 Sites Directory & Handbook.
